Booqpad & Livescribe, Aug 23 2011

I looked at this case for about a month before making the decision to purchase it. I'm a college student so if I got this, it would totally minimize my bag space. I'm left-handed and I use a Livescribe 4 GB Echo Smartpen (which I think is a bit wider than the Livescribe 2 GB Pulse Smartpen). It fits the pen easily and was described as being able to fit A5 paper (same as Livescribe A5 Single Subject Notebooks 4pk). It's not truly a left-handed case because the notebook opening is right side only. So I had to turn my notebook into a top lift/legal pad sort of arrangement. The smell doesn't bother me, I've gotten used to opening the snap from the back, the Apple iPad 2 MC979LL/A Tablet (16GB, Wifi, White) NEWEST MODEL is super-secure & easily accessible, and I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Just Ok., May 8 2011

Pros:
This item is sleek and stylish. It provides good protection for the iPad.
Convenient storage pockets for biz cards.
Cons:
Build quality is questionable. I've owned this for one week and I'm already seeing stitches coming undone as well as some fraying around the edges.
Design is pretty good, however, functionality is limited (it works great on a flat surface only). You cannot stand the iPad up with this case. If you fold the cover around the back the paper pad hangs loose and gets beat up.

Love the notepad feature, obviously why one would buy it in the first place, it is convenient for note taking, however it is cumbersome (bulky and heavy to hold) for regular everyday use (reading a book, etc). I also miss the smart cover and it's ability to clean the screen, so may still need 2nd cover for casual use... Other than that it's well constructed and attractive, I get many compliments on it and is convenient.
