I have been using this primarily to remove tiles to prepare for new tiling. It is angled well for popping off tiles and sharp and durable when removing old thinset from the substrate. I am able to get the surface smooth enough to retile without removing the old substrate, saving me a lot of them and effort. I use it with my Bosch SDS hammer drill and have been getting great results.

I bought a chipping hammer and 8 or so different chisels for tile removal and future projects. This chisel got the most use as it was the most useful for removing tile off a cement slab. The angle is perfect for wedging under the tile edge, the point is slim for turning perpendicular and busting out the grout, and then angle it down for the perfect angle for busting remaining thin-set off the cement floor.

After using scraping blades on my reciprocating saw and breaking both I had, I hand scraped lino tiles that have been glued to a concrete patio since 1955. Horrid work. I got half of it done before I remembered I had this in my hammer drill box. Slapped it in the chuck and woo-hoo! Strong steel, sharp edge -- tore through the job in a tenth the time. And it was fun to use. Highly recommended.
