Bosch TDR2203 Square Number R2 Titanium 2-Inch, 3 Pack
- Titanium coated for higher performance
- Tough grip coating protects each point for durability
- 75% more gripping power than standard bits
- Especially useful for burying long screws in treated lumber
Bosch titanium screwdriver bits feature patented Titanium Tough Grip coating. These innovative bits start with a rough surface that actually grips the entire inside dimension of the screw head with millions of gripping points. The bits are then coated with titanium to provide a hard surface that protects the gripping points from the rigors of repetitive use. Titanium Tough Grip coating significantly reduces slippage with 75 percent more gripping power and protects each gripping point from damage so bits don't need to be replaced as often as standard screwdriver bits. The power groove on each bit fits all quick change systems and can be chucked directly into a drill.

Currently, Amazon sells these in 3-packs for $7.15 w/free shipping, which is not much more than the non-titanium coated Bosch CCSQ2205 Number 2 Square Recess, 2-Inch 5 Pack the sell 5 for $6.71 sh.incl. I'm not sure which is the better value as I use both. My hunch (and it's nothing more than that) is that the titanium is a bit more durable. It seems like we get a hundred screws or so out of either -- in a production environment i'm sure they would last much longer, but on the job site working on ladders and overhead it's hard to keep the bits aligned with the screws.
They work well for me. Satisfied. I recommend you get these and the Bosch CCSQ2205 5-pack and compare for yourself.
