Just to my right is my Bose AE-2 headphones and I'm in the process of looking for new ear cushions. One of which has disintegrated, while the other is on it's way out after only two years of use. Seems to me that the $35 plus tax, plus shipping costs to replace the ear cushions is excessive and that considering the price I paid, replacement parts should be cheaper. Having said that, they are the most comfortable headphones on the market and the sound is exceptional. Bose, I hope you are listening, improve the quality of the materials or at least reduce the price of replacement parts.
Bose replaced my AE2's at a cost of $70 for a brand new pair, no questions asked and at one of their stores. The sound and comfort is that good,
that I'm sticking with them.
