This Silk Epil 5 Epilator is very good, my legs are still smooth after 4 weeks, and the fact that it has a light it makes it a better epilator. The light helps you to reach spots that probably you'd missed them if you have light hair. I never used the ice glove, but I used the epilator after shower and I've been very happy with the results. Very nice design and color, much better than the boring white one.

I had an old Silk Epil for 15 years. It was time to replace it for a new one. I like very much the one I bought. I don't use the ice glove. If you have to buy an epilator try to choose one with a light. The light on the epilator is so practical. I would like to say that the Silk Epil can hurt a lot for some people. My sister was not able to use it. She has opted for the laser treatments but it is very expensive. I don't have any problem with the Silk Epil. It doesn't hurt a lot for me and it is better than the wax, so easy to use.

I've been using an epilator now since May, 2011. I recently purchased the Braun Silk epilator to replace my old one. The first few times I got more ingrown hairs than usual, but this could be due to the cold weather too. The light on the Braun really helps find the stragglers that I have usually missed with my old epilator. I don't find that this one hurts any more or less than any other epilator. People have to remember you are pulling hair out of your legs, it's gonna hurt some! The ice glove helps more so after your done epilating to close the pores and cool your legs down (mine are usually itchy afterwards but hurts to scratch), the glove takes care of the itch quite effectively. I don't use either of the attachements that come with it. I don't like to wait for my leg hair to get long enough to be able to use it. I've never pinched my skin because of not using the attachment and it really gets the short hairs when I take the attachement off. Overall I am really happy with this product and would encourage anyone to buy it.
