Typical of me I was waiting on someone else to review this book prior to be buying it, but I could not resist even with only one review. I very much enjoyed the book and would recommend reading it. I truely wish the author would write a longer verision of some of her books. I would love to see where the characters go and overcome certain events and not just be left in the beginning. Buy it and enjoy for a few hours. I hate to say this, but this would have gotten 5 stars if it had been longer.

I read this in a couple of hours on a beach in Mexico while on vacation, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's light and short--just an all around fun read. It really is great vacation reading if you're looking for the typical lesbian romance novel. My only complaint is that the ending felt rushed. The book was so short as it was that I really felt there was plenty of room to elaborate on the ending a bit.

Colby Taylor, AKA Breaker is a surf instructor on the island of Maui, Hawaii. She is hiding secrets from her past and has a reputation for breaking women's hearts. Elizabeth Collins is a college professor on an extended working vacation. When the two women meet the sparks between them begin to fly. But can they overcome the fact that neither woman is interested in a relationship for varying different reasons?A nice enjoyable romance that is hot, smoking hot. This book has a good storyline too, which makes it more than a run of the mill romance. I think Julie has got the balance just right. A really good afternoon's read. |
