What can be said about this spectacular saga that hasn't been said before? One of the very
few series that competes with the best films in history for achievement in cinematic storytelling.
Like a great novel slowly unfolding, it's funny, heartbreaking, incredibly tense, deeply disturbing.

A nebbishy high-school science teacher finds he has lung cancer, so becomes a meth dealer to
make money for his family before his death. Often visually stunning, with a breathtaking
performance by Brian Cranston in the lead, and great work from all the supporting roles,
this portrait of a man's decent into hell couldn't be much better, and it just grows darker and
more disturbing each year.

In a way, thematically it recalls "The Godfather I and II" in how that epic charts Michael's journey
from innocence to darkness, along with the moral murkiness of the endless drive for money
and success - how we lose ourselves, so that succeeding and having ever more becomes an
end in itself for which we will pay any price, rather than a route to happiness, trapping us in a
game we can never win.

Kudos too, to creator Vince Gilligan to have the courage to end the show at just the right time
rather than string it out past where the story would bear. This last season brings together all
the shows themes and central characters and finds a way to end it all without ever selling
out the story or the ideas. This brief 8 episode season has some of the series very best episodes.
This is powerful, important and utterly enthralling stuff.

We thought we had seen the final season of the show. It had ended abruptly, but made sense. Then we heard that there was a final season, ordered it, and watched it in two nights. We were not disappointed.

We enjoyed this series because:

* Characters were well developed with superb acting, plot and writing
* We felt a wide range of emotions and feelings for the characters
* We vicariously experienced through the characters the dark underbelly of today's society
* We experienced the main character's slow but steady descent to devastation for him and all connected to him, especially his family

One of the best series to date. Just long enough and never boring. Highly recommended.

Loved every minute of the series. I wish it had of continued. We watched the entire series in a month of steady watching. I borrowed the first 4 seasons and bought the last two. This is an edgy series which may not be for every viewer. The series is graphic at times but always with a dark humour twist. The idea of making drugs for a living is unique and I really didn't know much about it until watching the series. Action packed and surprising at times. Worth your time.

It arrived promptly, and we really enjoyed the whole series. When there as nothing on TV to watch, we hungered down and watched parts of the series. We would plan on watching one part, but then watch several, because we could not wait to see what happened!!

I would highly recommend breaking bad...Loved Jessie !! All the actors played their parts very well !!

Don't go Breaking Bad!!!!! Don't leave us here with terrible sitcoms, and reality tv shows. This show was amazing, was this the ending that it deserved, yes and no. I won't comment on that as I hate spoilers, but such a well done show. I am so glad that I finally found the time to start watching this show. The writing, acting, and story is amazing.

Do you even need to ask. As with the entire series the final season was completely brilliant and the series finale had me (me) in tears. Writers need way more awards and Brian Cranston and Aaron Paul should have offers coming out of the woodwork. One of the best shows I have had the privilege to watch in the past 20 years.

Right from the first episode, this season ramps up the intensity. Everything has built towards this season (and one episode in particular) and the writers manage to wrap everything up perfectly. By the time you're done with these episodes you'll have felt sadness, terror, joy, and incredible satisfaction. Buy this.
