Graphically enhanced to take advantage of the PSPs screen resolution, Breath of Fire III follows the fate of Ryu as he embarks on an epic quest to discover his ancestry and understand the dragon power that has awoken inside of him. The PSP version also includes a bonus Fishing mode at 18 different locations in the game world. Thanks to the Game Sharing function Breath of Fire III owners can also send this Fishing game to their friends to enjoy even if they do not have a copy of the game.

I have played many RPG's. Final Fantasy being the most note worthy.I consider this to be as good as 6 and 7 were.
This is bright and colourful. It makes full use of the ultra slick range of colours the PSP is capable of.
It doesn't suffer from page load breaks all the time like some of the PSP games I've played.
Follow the merry band of little robbing monkies until they get split up.
The lead character becomes the central role then as you search the length and breadth of the world to find your lost companions.
Sounds easy enough, but add to that mutants, competitions, talking onions and turning into a dragon and you've got the recipe for hours of gameplay fun.
Theres a game sharing mode and a fishing mode. When you don't feel like you want to enter the main game you can do the fishing challenges instead which is highly addictive.
When the lead character cries, it makes you laugh!
I've not played the original but can well imagine how good it must have been.
It's a very good game full of seamless RPG fun.

Even though it's a remake of the PS version, BOF III is still great fun for any RPG fan. Now it's on PSP meaning you can take it and play on the go without being stuck to your console at home. I strongly recommend this game for its strong replay value.
