Comprehensive review with great case histories, Oct 24 1999

This review is from: Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly: The Joy of Transformational Breathing (Paperback)
Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly is an apt description of The Joy of Transformational Breathing. Judith has introduced us to the majesty that can happen when we open up our shut-down breathing and allow ourselves to experience the fullness of our lives. She gives us many case examples to show what happens when we open the breathing and get the personal life-force energy flowing. Most of us are breathing at 1/5 of a healthy level, she tells us. This means our body and each one of its 75 trillion cells is being starved of oxygen. As Judith tells us, this leads to lack of energy, depressed immune systems and many of the stress-related diseases that are proliferating these days. This book gives a great overview of how breathing affects us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I highly recommend it for seasoned "breathers" and those that are new to the science. Of all the therapies available, breathing is by far the one that gives the most profound results in the safest, quickest manner. Get the book, read it, then call up a breathing coach for a session. It will change your life.

WOW! The book was fascinating and almost unbelievable until I had a facilitated Transformational Breath experience. It was amazing. Much more powerful than previous Holotropic or Rebirthing breath sessions. My life has been totally transformed and revitalized. Through the book and the session, I saw how wonderful and simple life can be. It starts with correct breathing..

this book is a good introduction to deep breathing as a modality to work on emotional issues. After reading the book a class with trained facilitators would be the next step.
