5.0 out of 5 stars The best romance I've read for a while!, Sep 10 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Bride Wore Blue (Paperback)
I found this book at a used book store, and I didn't realize it was out of print. It is the best "cheesy romance" novel I've read in a long time, and I read about one a day.

I absolutely laughed my way through it. The story makes sense, and while I'm not normally impressed by blond men, I found myself adoring the hero of the book, J.D "Blue" Hazzard. Some of the best humor is at the end of the book, but you've got to read the book to find out!

Ms. Gerard is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors. I've read other books of her's and liked all of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great start of a series., July 31 2005
By J COFFMAN "Jackie" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Bride Wore Blue (Paperback)
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I loved the way Blue managed to get through to Maggie that he is not like her ex. He was kind & tender with her. The total opposite of what she had experienced in her life.

Maggie has never experienced anyone like Blue. Even though they have known each other for over 15 years from when they were teenagers. The years in between has tought Maggie to be distrustful of men.

All Maggie needs to learn is trust...

Next in the trilogy is "A bride for Abel Greene".

I loved his charachter in this book & can't wait to read his story.
