I bought this printer on July 2nd 2013 for $59.93 with free shipping. The product arrived very quickly. Setup was very smooth and I was printing documents within minutes. I have read about the toner lasting a long time, and I expect it to. There is a toner save option that you can enable to make it last even longer. The best part: if you do run out of toner it only costs like $20 to get a replacement cartridge (which will give you 1200-2000 pages). Finally a printer that prints sharp black and white documents fast and reliably and doesn't cost a fortune in ink! The cost per page is probably the lowest you'll find. Does not have wireless printing, but printing from a tablet or smartphone is not a easy as you think... I know, i have a wireless inkjet and rarely use the wireless function. I'm only using it for scanning now lol!
Duplex printing is not automatic, but who cares, I don't print duplex, because I hate flipping the page to read what's on the back. At one cent a page for paper, there is no point in printing duplex, paper is cheap, and with this printer, toner is cheap as well. Plus, the more paper you use, the more people you employ in the pulp and paper industry (support North American jobs!).
If you are worried about the killing of trees, paper is a renewable resource, just make sure you recycle your paper when you are done with it.
Bottom line: this printer does what it says it will do and does it well. No more expensive ink cartridges! No more running out of ink at the worst possible time -- or ink drying out or nozzles blocking. Get this printer and you won't regret it.
Bonus: I'm in Ontario, Canada where they charge an environment handling fee on all new printers ($12.XX). This was included in the price when I purchased this on Amazon.ca, whereas I would have had to pay this fee on top of the price of the printer at a comparable retailer such as Staples.
