Thought about a label maker for a long time and after recently adding more networking and peripheral equipment to my home network, it was time. Yes, as probably read elsewhere, it does use a chunk of tape either side of printing but there are physical limitations to explain that, but aside from that I have no complaints. You type a label, hit a button, it prints it. Can't say anything for the additional styling and all that jazz as not interested. Almost all my prints have been two-line (yes, it does that) which saves a lot of tape. Problem with this is that you can't then use the multi-labels-at-once trick to save the printing margins. For a cheap device (that doesn't come with batteries, fyi) it does the job and can't complain too much.
