By tony (new york) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bruce Lee (Video Game)
Because the xbox game was so awful, they didnt produce alot of these game paks.. (only 60,000 were produced) thinking no one would ever want them... so they sent it out in very limited distrabution. i went to atleast 10 walmarts where they were exclusive and they only got like 5-10 per store!!!! now whatever you can find is on ebay... when ever you see them on ebay... besides the scarcity of this game it is by far the most fun game i have ever played on my gba and i have like 40 games ... go to www.metacritic.com and see this games high reviews ... fast fluid and fun is the best way to describe this game... its like taking law from tekken and putting him in his own side scrolling beatem up ... if you can find this game ( best of luck ) its worth whatever your paying ... i would go as high and pay $50 for this game its that great! look at dragonball gt final bout ... they made 120,000 copies of that game and it sells on ebay for $200-$300 !! and the game sux! just think half its production and a 100 times of a better fighter is bruce lee ... get it now before you have to pay hundreds ... happy searching!

Pow, Chow, Wow Fighting Game,

This is more than your average karate fighting game. The graphics & background are clear, the acoustics and pounding seem so real and there is plenty of action, flipping, bouncing, weapon-grabbing and a horde of different characters to fight. My fastidious eight-year-old son has seen more than his share of GBA games and isn't easily impressed, but this fighting game is entertaining, challenging and fun--no episodes of blood or foul language (A PLUS!!). Too bad I had to purchase this one overseas. But overall, this is a title worth having if you can get you hands on it. As an aside, other noteworthy fun yet engrossing games are Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland, Kim Possible and Lord of the Rings:Two Towers.

This review is from: Bruce Lee (Video Game)
Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend stars the legendary martial artist in a plot that is straight out from one of his own films. Meaning that the plot bears little importance as a whole, and instead the focus is on some bone crushing action. Playing as Bruce, you take on baddies and lurk around getting from one point to another. That's pretty much the basis of the game, as there really isn't a whole lot to it. There are some stealth areas thrown in for good measure, but these missions aren't very well done, and the stealth aspects aren't really implemented all that well either. However, the game looks pretty good, and for a GBA game there is a great assortment of moves to utilize as well. All in all, for what it is, Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend is a solid side-scrolling action romp, and the fact that it features Bruce Lee makes it worth playing alone.

The game is a lot of fun. All of his signature movies are in place and a classic story. What more does one need. Highly recommended.
