A desperate criminal narrowly evades death at gunpoint. A hardened auto mechanic finds himself caught between grief and debt. A struggling young alcoholic yearns to escape from his misery. Three very different men seek hope in an unlikely place: the Mighty Men Conference held by Angus Buchan, the real-life farmer whose spiritual transformation inspired the celebrated film Faith Like Potatoes. The tale of Angus's own journey intertwines with the stories of three men among the many thousands who travel to hear his words. Paths will cross and lives will be forever transformed in a powerful new motion picture based on true events.
At the Mighty Men Conference on Angus' farm, that started with a couple hundred men a few years ago and has grown to over 300,000 attendees, Angus is sharing his simple but rock solid faith. His on-stage heart attack brings the conference to a halt and shocks the attendees. In the vast crowd we find three typical men - all having been impacted by Angus' words. Andre Cloete - a twenty something man who became ensnared in alcohol abuse and a wasted life - due to his broken relationship with his 'strictly religious' and absent father. John Peters - a middle aged mechanic who's business, family relationships and health have been spiralling down to the brink of collapse. And Lucky Nzimande - a young African criminal who naively attempts to hi-jack the vehicle of two ex special-forces policemen en route to the Mighty Men Conference. The film tells the dramatic story of these three men's journeys and experiences leading up to the conference and having their lives changed forever by God.
