Great series, great price. For all those more traditional vampire fans this is definitely a series to watch. As far as packaging it is in the slim dvd case as shown.

I have got the entire collection now just waiting to be watched. I am presently on Season 3. It's nice to just sit back and relax with some good old shows.

The problem with this season is similar to the problem of season 6. It seems that the writers or producers wanted to make Willow more powerful and important, even more powerful than Buffy. Why this decision was made I do not know; perhaps contract problems with the actress, but it just doesn't work. The balance is off. And after a while, it becomes too obvious that they are writing the scripts to accommodate Willow, not Buffy. Because of this imbalance, the show should perhaps have ended after season 5, even though there are a couple of episodes in seasons six and seven that work, but note that those episodes do not have the Willow story arc or the need to make Willow powerful. This technique of finding ways to weaken Buffy starts early on in the writing, which is fine, because the vulnerabilities spring from her. The imbalance arises when the writers weaken Buffy by making one of the other main character stronger than Buffy (such as Willow).
