Awesome for any Buffy Fan,

This review is from: Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season Eight Volume 3: Wolves at the Gate (Paperback)
The story is engaging and loyal to all of Joss Whedon's fanbase. I can't wait for more.

This review is from: Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season Eight Volume 3: Wolves at the Gate (Paperback)
Strange plots and uncharacteristic things happen in this volume. Things are kinda cool but lesbian Buffy is not for me, and in fact really made me like this volume a lot less than I could have. I don't understand the decision to have a night of lesbianism.
Joss Whedon said We're not going to make her gay, nor are we going to take the next 50 issues explaining that she's not. She's young and experimenting, and did I mention open-minded?' Buffy is now roughly 25 or so, I feel the 'experimental' stage is over. Also there is a large robot Dawn for no inexplicable reason other than humor, yes it is funny, but it makes no sense. Its entertaining, but really not real BTVS in the end.

The Ruin of Season 8,

This volume is terrible! The plotline is entertaining enough but sub-plots do not keep in character and have now ruined this series for me.
