The best season of Buffy was hands down season 3, and this was the second best. It included some of the best story arcs (I won't give them away). If you were disappointed with season 1, don't give up! Season 2 is where the show takes shape, becomes more funny, more emotional, more scary, more clever, more real.The unfortunate part is that the original dvd set is, I guess, out of stock and they have reissued new "slim packs". These were selling for a fraction of the price in the store. The originals were 70 dollars canadian when they first came out and the slim packs where 30 dollars when they first come out. I don't know if the slim packs include the booklet or not, I'm guessing no. If you can get the original, do it. That's my only beef with this.
