Buffy The Vampire Slayer season 6(2006),Aired 2001-2002

The Sixth season of Buffy is certainly the darkest season with one shocking event after another with Buffy returning from the dead,from Spike and Buffy`s relationship to Willow becoming obssesed with magic and turns evil.This season had the Spike-Buffy relation,the rise and fall of the three geeks,Willow turning evil,Xander and Ania`wedding upset,Tara died,well very strong moments of the show.

Season six of Buffy The Vampire Slayer is not the best season,and is probably not ranked among them,i think with that season they tried to make everything too dark,while before Buffy was more lighearted fun and provided better seasons.Now everything has gone serious(even Xander at times),i think its one of the reasons its one of the weaker seasons of the show.

But season six has some great episodes like "Doublemeat Palace" and did different things that no one would expect they would like the brilliant aclaimed musical episode "Once More With Feeling".I loved the three geeks,Warren,Jonathan and Andrew,they were really funny and weird and each thing they did next was one worst then the one before.

Buffy returned from the dead after a powerfull spell of Willow but she isn`t her own self,Buffy is somehow different as she lost sight of who she is and thinks that she was in heaven,she was in peace and happy there making her kinda upset that Willow brought her back to this hell that is Sunnydale.

I think this season made a mistake by making Willow such an important character,i mean this season was all about her!They had good script but they went too far in my opinion.Willow`s addiction to magic controls her and makes Tara leave,Willow tries to stop magic but she grows into an even more powerfull witch and after she finally gets back with Tara,only to have her killed by Warren,she wants revenge...

Season 6 was certainly a season a change,the season of broken love,Spike and Buffy,Anya and Xander,Willow and Tara,all couples went trought it.

Buffy had its highs and lows during this season,despite a lot of things season 6 of Buffy was still one of the best things on television at the time,it contained some the greatest episodes and worst episodes of the entire series.Definatly not the place to start,recommended to fans of Buffy.The serie might have stopped but the Buffyverse will long be remembered.
