From School Library Journal

Adult/High School-Two rousing and well-told tales of girl power featuring Willow and Tara, the Buffy universe's most well-adjusted couple. In "Wanna Blessed Be," a novice member of the local Wiccan group gets "a little too enthusiastic in a sorcerer's apprentice kinda way." In the longer story, "Wilderness," Buffy's younger sister, Dawn, joins Willow and Tara at the center of a complex and cosmic conflict between humans and the forces of nature when they stumble upon a local controversy over the logging of old-growth redwoods. Because the stories are drawn by different artists, they differ in visual style, but both move forward smoothly, with the colorful illustrations intensifying high points and deepening narrative texture. The friends' humorous banter and social interactions are shown in a more cartoonlike style, but when danger and creepiness emerge from beneath the appearance of normality, the havoc is effectively conveyed in explosive, dialogue-free sequences. Stylish inking also augments the dialogue of characters and magical creatures. Willow and Tara's "magic of two" is portrayed with subtlety, especially when they are traveling with Dawn, but their relationship is clearly affectionate and pleasurable. Wiccan values, and the many sides of the environmental controversy, are treated with respect. This fine melding of story and art should interest readers both within and beyond Buffy fandom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful collection, Oct 17 2003
This review is from: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow & Tara (Paperback)
This collection contains three stories , "WannaBlessedBe", "Wilderness" and "Demonology Menagerie".

The first one, "WannaBlessedBe" is five by five! This story is written by two of my favorite people, Chris Golden & Amber Benson. I loved the way they handled Willow & Tara's relationship, very subtle, very BtVS 4th/ fifth season.(This story takes place in the fifth season.) What I also loved about this story was the way it was drawn (done by Terry Moore, Strangers in Paradise genius).Beautifully done.5/5
Oh, and check out Tara reading "Strangers in Paradise"!

The second story, "Wilderness" was awesome! It takes place in the sixth season. I love this action-packed story of Willow, Tara and Dawn taking a fieldtrip. Also written by Amber Benson and Chris Golden. The graphics aren't as beautifully done as in the previous story, but it totally suits the story. 5/5

The third instalment is a short story written by Andi Watson. It's a cute story that takes place in the fifth season. 3.5/5

I recommend this collection to any Buffy fan or comics fan, especially if you're a fan of Willow and Tara.

5.0 out of 5 stars Willow and Tara in comicbookland, Mar 7 2010

This review is from: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow & Tara (Paperback)
This comic is fantastic. it's adorable and really embodies the willow & tara relationship. it comes in a nice thick paperback-ish format which was not what i expected as I thought it would be more of a thin, regular comic book sized book. the fact that amber benson co-wrote the story makes it that much more authentic. the product arrived in mint condition, with a plastic cover, no bend marks or any indication that it had ever been opened before.
this is a must have item for any willow&tara fan.
