Mr. Field has created a book that can help anyone navigate their way through workplace bullying. Sadly, I bought it too late. I realized that his research and experience would have helped me avoid falling into "potholes" that would have been predictable had I purchased the book early into me becoming a target at work. Regardless, it has been an invaluable too to me in my last stages of fighting through workplace bullying that obviously is rampant in many fields, particularly education, medicine, government jobs and not-for-profit/volunteers. I have reference tabs throughout the book. Note: this book and his website [...] was recommended to me by my medical specialist in rehabilitation!! If you have a vulnerability, you are an ideal target for some sociopathic boss! I hope Mr. Field is resting in peace and able to see from a distance that his research has helped many folks including me.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bully in Sight May 4 2005
I read this completely eye-opening book with amazment. First of all, it really defined a silent epidemic most workplaces are having to deal with. Secondly, it really outlined definitions, places to turn, and what to expect from abusive workplaces. I would highly recommend this not only to those in an abusive workplace, but for anyone trying to help someone who's been through this ugly phenomenon.
