This book is informative and the illustrations are beautiful. The poem is great for little ones, but the side bar has more information for older readers. Actually, I have used this book for my English as a Second Language students. This has been a great way to introduce the province to them.

Great pictures, interesting and well written commentary. I have shared this book with other parents and they have all agreed it is the best Canadian picture book. Go ahead and buy it - you'll love it. Something for all ages.
