I had high hopes based on other reviews. Maybe I just got unlucky. Whatever the case, the cartridges I received are basically pure junk.
Waste of time and money as I could not return it.
I'll nerve purchase a remanufactured print cartridge again!
I have bought 3 from other suppliers over the last year with the same results.
I'm a slower learner I guess??
I cAn not even rate it. i HAD TO CHECK ONE STAR TO GET THIS REVIEW TO GO. It is WRONG catridge even though it has HP 54 on the label.
The printing is just as clear.
You get twice the printing for less than half the cost of an HP 21 cartridge.
I have always bought from Staples and their products were perfect.
This past few months the new manager, owner has been selling defective computers (HP) and ink cartridges.
Spending $35.00 per cartridge and have to constantly bring back, new one is broken again.
So; I decided to buy my office products on Amazon.
This ink cartridge works! Thanks to the guy that invented this alternative to being forced to buy at local small city stores and HP!
(When placing it in the printer for the first time; turn the printer 'off and on' a few times to get the cartridge to communicate, set up with the printer.)
Then it's all systems GO! Back to work.
Update; New computer keeps rejecting the cartridges. Have to keep taking them out, put diff ones in, then out then these back in, sometimes works.
It seems that HP printer is blocking this cartridge and blocking ink refills so they can sell me theirs.
Work around; take the cartridge out. Put a old one in, hp or... Then take it out after hp recognizes it. Put the fist one back in. Then the cartridge will work until hp software senses its not their product. Then hp blocks it. Redo the take out... thing each time you need to print.
Update; after I removed certain HP printer software (just kept the main printer, software); the pop up notices about the cartridge being incompatible is gone and the ink refills work perfect, long time.
