Book Description

Aug. 1 2012
CBC Exposed is a book like no other. This book takes on the holy grail of the Canadian media landscape and lays bare the truth about CBC. Reckless reporting at the state broadcaster has ruined lives and cost taxpayers millions upon millions in settlement costs yet no one has ever been held to account. This book does what the consensus media cowards are afraid to do, tell the truth about CBC. From reporting driven by vendettas to outright biases against conservatives, gun owners, Israel and any other group that doesn't fit their vision of Canada, CBC Exposed is a call to action to rein in this broadcasting giant. Once you read this book you too will be convinced that the only way to tame the beast is to sell it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting.....kind of political Nov. 23 2013

I thought this book was interesting. It would have been good (balanced) if the other side of each story had their say. Depending on your political persuasion you will either like or hate this book. Just as an aside ....whoever didn't renew the CBC rights to the Hockey Night In Canada theme should be shot...or tarred and feathered as a minimum!

Canada's Sun Media is owned by Quebec separatist politician Pierre Karl Peladeau. The Sun, is therefore, by Mr. Lilley's reasoning, Canada's separatist newspaper. It doesn't surprise me therefore that he is badmouthing Canada's national broadcaster. That's what Mr. Peladeau pays Mr. Lilley to do. So take this silly book with a grain of salt - it's a propaganda piece aimed to win favour with the boss.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for every Canadian taxpayer Dec 6 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Brian Lilley does an excellent job exposing how the CBC wastes our $1.2 billion every year. Every taxpayer in the country who cares about where their tax dollars are going needs to read this. They waste our money spin the stories to suit their own agenda and they do not think they should be accountable to us the taxpayer. This book tells you every thing you need to know.

The CBC is a Canadian totem whose value belongs in the past. You'll read information in this book that nobody else wants to talk about.

Well done, Mr. Lilley.

4.0 out of 5 stars CBC should not receive tax dollars
It's a shame that tax dollars still go to this ... what would you call it? It's not really a network, is it? Leftist propaganda would be more like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm sure it's good
I only downloaded this book because it was free. I'm sure it's interesting and some day I may even sit down and read it. Great value for the money.

3.0 out of 5 stars CBC Exposed again and again and nothing is done
The journalist is experienced and knowledgeable about the topic. It is a good read. The examples and the limited discussion is from my experience accurate. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars informative
Very informative but not that well written. It also could have been more concised. But the message was heard. CBC must go.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent book.
This is an excellent book exposing how the CBC functions, and how the organization no longer represents the taxpayer who pays for it, but rather pushes an ideological agenda.
