This book is a good reference and study material for the CISSP exam. Although it is a thick book, it is very easy to read. The content of the book is not dry. The information in each chapter flows very nicely, especially with good examples and clear explanations. Even if you are not taking the CISSP exam, it is a good read for the security professionals.

I successfully wrote the CISSP exam almost one and a half year ago and I have been meaning to write a review about this text. I read two separate books, another best seller and Shon Harris' book. This book is all you need, her style is very relaxing , and you really enjoy learning the material. The book is not only an exam prep tool but a VERY good reference. It gave me everything I needed to pass the test. Shon is a good writer and an accomplished security expert.

BTW, curious to know, has anybody taken CISSP exam, and not passed?
