Ok, but I'm not sure it's worth the price July 12 2013

I bought 4 colors of nail polish and 1 bottle of the topcoat, each for about $11.
While I know that's not the most expensive nail polish out there--it is a lot more than I usually pay.

I have used the polish three times and have been less than blown-away by it. I have used the Serene Green on my toes and it has held up pretty well. However, the Electric Orange I have used twice on my fingernails has two problems: the color is sheer enough that I don't feel two coats gives enough coverage (you still see streaks through to my nail) and it has chipped or worn off the end of the nail within a couple of days. So the 5-7 days touted has just not been my experience. The polish seems to chip or wear off much less than normal polish but, still. My expectations were higher for this product.

One thing I did find out is that the first 2 coats of color seem to stay a bit sticky--I tried letting them dry for several minutes to an hour--but as soon as I put the topcoat on, it dried pretty hard after about 10 minutes. So the topcoat is important and it seems to "dry" the first coats very well.

Wow. Extremely impressed Sept. 30 2013

I have worked at various salons for 11 years and have always loved a good manicure. I was always loyal to OPI and Essie. I love both brands because of the beautiful colors they offer but neither stayed well on my nails. I have never had acrylics or tips and am not a fan of Shellac or Gel polishes because of how long they have to soak off. I never wanted to damage my nails because my natural nails are strong and grow nicely.

I paint my own nails most of the time because I will have chips after two days of wear. So recently my current salon got Vinylux nail polish in. You only need 2 coats of color and one top coat. No UV light required, dries quickly and removes with regular nail polish remover. I thought it was too good to be true but figured I'd give it a shot.

It lasted over seven days and the color stayed bright, beautiful and shiny. Not one chip, no worn edges... just a flawless manicure lasting longer than I've ever seen without help from a UV light.

Outstanding product. OPI and Essie better step up their game!

I love vinylux polishes. I can get about a weeks wear without chipping with them! Versus only about ONE DAY with other polishes because my hands are in water so much. Some of the vinylux is a little globby like it's old, but it doesn't seem to affect the staying power - just makes it harder to apply.
The colors are typically a little darker than whats expected - but they are all nice colors & they DRY FAST!

I liked this nail polish very much bc I can do it at home and it dries up quickly with no UV lamp needed! Taking it off is also easier than Gelish manicures. However, since I do spend time in the kitchen, I can say it doesn't stay intact for 7 days. But if you don't cook or wash ur hands regularly, I think it would stay on without chipping away.
