Just received the Wii bowling Ball from CTA Digital.
The instruction on the box and inside the box (French and spanish also included) even do you really don't need them...
Very intuitive usage. Press the two button to open the ball in two fit the wii-mote inside (can also accomodate the wiimote plus with the rumble pack) and put the two half ball together and voila you are ready to play the most realistic bowling videogame.
The ball it self isn't heavy (~1pd) but it does add to the realism. Make sure to have enough space behind and infront of you since you will most likely do your full bowling motion. Control is impressive. You just need to get used to the B button release and you can reproduce the same throw you do on real bowling lane.
One little negative aspect is that the ball is done for right handed person (as %90_+ of products on the market...)
I saw some review on the nets raising red flags about safety and holes size:
1st safety: If you leave plenty of space around you and use the wrist strap as it is supposed to be there is very low to none risk of smashing your 50+ inches Plasma TV with the ball and even if you release the ball (like you do ion a real game) the strap will hold it... you can it you knee or legs still but this will not hurt to much and will remind you that your playing virtual game...
2nd The hole size: I have pretty big fingers and have no problem to use it. Of course it is not taillored holes drilled in your favorite pro shop but again this is a "Game" not a $20K tournament...
My wife and I really liked it.
It is a great wii game enhancement gizmo.
