Corb Lund has once again proven to my why I'm a fan of his music. His talent for intelligently weaving a story through his work is evident in "Cabin Fever." He stays true to his roots (i.e.: "You Ain't a Cowboy (If You Ain't Been Bucked Off)"), and keeps songs on the track that might not be a hit, but will appeal to the thoughtful fan who listens to the album more than twice (i.e.: "Priceless Antique Pistol Shoots Startled Owner"). Finally, he includes the obvious -- catchy tunes that inspire, and stick in your head for days (i.e.: "Gettin' Down on the Mountain," "Dig, Gravedigger, Dig"). Way to go Corb!

Both disks are great but prefer the acoustic disk
I started listening to Corb Lund with his Horse Soldier album. I was so impressed with that album that I picked up two of his older albums, Five Dollar Bill and Hair in my Eyes. Read more
