I'm a kitchen klutz. My family refers to my cooking as my "experiments". I've tried dozens of recipe books to improve my way around the kitchen, but they were too complicated and too intimidating for someone at my cooking level. I needed something more basic. So I searched through the children's cookbooks and discovered "Cakes and Cookies for Beginners". This book is an absolute marvel. It has about 20 mouthwatering dessert recipes, each with a photo of how the finished product is supposed to look. It also includes easy to understand baking tips. If you like simple straightforward recipes, try this book.
