The music I enjoyed while watching the series did not seem to make it onto the soundtrack cd. This did not turn out to be as memorable as I had hoped it would be.

Great Soundtrack!,

For those of you that like current music with a classic timeless feel you should pick up this as well as the other soundtracks they've got for Season 1, 2, and 3. I've bought them all, They're not jfilled with the hit songs of the year and they're always refreshing to listen to. I also like the balance between the rockin' tunes and the sentimental ones as well. It's very much like the show, it gets wild and crazy but also has some heart.I especially love the Home Sweet Home heartfelt version on here that is sung by Tommy Lee. I think its better than the Motley Crue slicked out early 90's version. I hope this show goes on forever and keeps making cool soundtracks that represent all the cool music they use in the show. Awesome lineup of artists. I'm really happy to see Monster Magnet/Adrian Young and Eagles of Death Metal appearing on this soundtrack. The cover songs are the standouts for me on this album. I was especially impressed by the Queens of Dogtown tracks. They managed to take iconic songs and execute them very well, not very easy to do. The two Love & Rockets tracks are nice addition as well.
