5.0 out of 5 stars US CD Single Jun 27 2012

Nice to see the US still releasing CD singles, even if they're few and far between. Comes in a standard jewel case with 2 tracks.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Catchy Piece of Pop Music April 24 2012
By Jorge Lopez - Published on Amazon.com
Based on this song, Carly Rae Jepsen doesn't seem to be very different from other pop stars. She has a decent voice, she looks perfectly prim on the artwork for this song and the lyrics of this song could have been written for anyone though I do give her credit for actually being one of the writers.

However...

This is a brilliantly catchy pop song. After one listen I was instantly hooked and the chorus will effortlessly cement itself in your head thanks to what appears to be some genius keyboards.

"Call Me Maybe" isn't a life changing song but it's tons of fun and will have you bopping your head and sometimes, when you want to throw your cares away and just have a good time, a song like this one is all you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars A simple feel-good song finally Jun 24 2012

Her voice is so sweet and fits the song perfectly. This song has a good vibe and good beat. It is simple and fun. No big voice screaming on top the lung, no depressing "my love dumps me and I can't live without you", no "I am sexy and slutty come party with me", no "some stupid rapper talking nonsense in the middle of a song" and making weird noise. It is just a "sweet happy girl looking for love " type of song. Come on we need a more positive outlook on life. When you meet someone you like just make a move and take a chance, that simple. Always hopeful, always see the bright side of life. This song makes me feel young, feel happy, full of energy and wanting to love again. On a side note, Carly Rae Jepsen is pretty and sweet. Not exposing her body unnecessary, no attitude, not pretentious. Just so fresh like Taylor Swift. We need more girl next door type of artists out there. We have enough weirdo or trashy whores out there to poison our young generation in this country.

4.0 out of 5 stars Undeniable pop song. April 20 2012
By Adrian Cooper - Published on Amazon.com
I'm not saying this is a classic or anything because it probably won't go down as one. But as far as catchy, foot-tappin' pop songs go, this one is one of the best out right now. Forget my girl Katy Perry's "Part Of Me" or the latest of Nicki Minaj--we now have Carly Rae Jepsen churning out this feel good pop ditty.

And catchy isn't even the half. The lyrics seem as if they could be picked up in just a few listens as I was humming some of the song on the first run through. The violin work is very infectious, the video, cutesy and the ending, hilarious.

Not to be missed.
