I purchased this book for my mother who recently learned she has breast cancer. She loves the book and was immediately able to use it to help her through her surgery and post-operative treatment (i.e., which vitamins to take, etc.). The book does a great job of explaining known risk factors for breast cancer and gives concise information on steps to take to reduce your risk (diet, exercise, herbs, vitamins, spiritual, lifestyle, etc.). I liked the book so much I purchased my own copy and have been recommending it to friends.

My naturopathic doctor introduced me to this book a few years ago. This year when I was diagnosed with breast cancer I burrowed her book until I could get my own copy. It is now my chief guide for exercises, diet, recipes, and information I missed in earlier years.
I am also lucky enough to have a physician who respects the information in this book and he supports me in the use of it to improve my health so that I won't develop cancer again.

Exceptional product April 19 2010

Dr. Sat Dharam is an exceptional researcher, teacher & practicioner. I use her books extensively as a yoga teacher, and for my own knowledge of health as a woman. I recommend all three of her books. Every woman and health teacher/practicioner should own these materials and share the knowledge with others. Prevention is the key and this book is packed full of rich information and wisdom stemming from yoga and naturopathy.

This is an exceptional workbook with so much information, I wish it was a required text for all sex-ed classes and that women and girls all over everywhere had it. The book offers breast health kundalini breathing excercises, diet support, links, resources, and more. Highly recommended!
