this is a must read for any Christian. hearing God's voice is an essential part of our walk that we often neglect or miss out on. this book has helped me engage so much more with God, i have learned so much. i'm starting to hear God's voice more and more. this book is practical, insightful, and level-headed.
There are few books that I have read which have impacted my faith as greatly as this one. The idea of conversing with God, rather than the typical monologue-style prayer most often exemplified was intimidating to me, but Jersak lays out solid Scriptural evidence that makes it seem natural. While I was initially wary of the concept of hearing God's voice, Jersak's straightforward and down-to-earth approach alleviated my doubts and fears. I was challenged to grow in my faith and to learn to tune in to God's voice. The exercises at the end of each chapter were particularly helpful.
