Can You See What I See?,
By Tami Brady "Whole Health" (Calgary, Canada) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME) (TOP 50 REVIEWER) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Can You See What I See? Trucks and Cars (Board book)
The Trucks and Cars version of Can You See What I See? has become an instant hit in our household. On one page, the page shows a vehicle or two. Then, the following page shows that vehicle hidden among a large amount of vehicles. When we read together, this creates a nice interaction of trying to find the matching vehicle. We also generally get a bit distracted looking for our favorites on that page, discussing the various types, and making vehicle noises. Quite by accident, I found out that this book also makes a good potty time read. My little guy loves to just look through the pages pointing out his favorites. In the meantime though, he's actually sitting on the potty without the least bit of hassle.

This review is from: Can You See What I See? Trucks and Cars (Board book)
This is a neat book if your little one likes looking at toy trucks and cars, but I was disappointed that it basically uses the same picture (see cover) in segmented close-ups just to point out a handful of vehicles. I realize the 'Can You See' board books basically do this anyhow because of their size and are geared towards pre-schoolers, but I thought this one was just kind of lacking in content compared to some of the others we own.

Captivating,

This review is from: Can You See What I See? Trucks and Cars (Board book)
My 19 month old absolutely loves cars, so this book is perfect for him. It holds his attention and he keeps going back to it over and over. He especially likes the huge picture at the back of all the cars. This book has gotten a lot more use than I expected, as many different questions can be asked. Where is the duck? Where's the school bus? Point to your favorite car.If you have a toddler that loves cars or things with wheels, this book will fascinate him. Highly recommended. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful

This is a good book for 3-4 year olds. The items are simple to find and not very challenging for older children.
