Amazon Canada,
By
This review is from: Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-200mmf/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens (Camera)
As usual, Amazon CANADA is asleep at the switch with current pricing. Just after the new year, I picked up this kit from Futureshop.ca for $1099. Get with the program, Amazon.

This review is from: Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-200mmf/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens (Camera)
This camera is fantastic - your price is almost $2000.00 off thoughIf this is not a mistake and this is what you are actually charging; I have to let you know you are nuts. I believe the retail price is $1499.99 with this kit lens. Fix the price Amazon, I hope no one payed this much :)

Why does Amazon let Marketplace vendors get away with this?,
This review is from: Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-200mmf/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens (Camera)
This is an official statement from Amazon.ca customer service:"Please note that individual merchants can list such items for sale at any price they feel is fair. If the item has become rare or collectible, it is possible that sellers will list the item at a price significantly higher than the original retail price. For these reasons you may occasionally see an item with an Amazon.ca list price lower than any of the prices being asked by individual sellers. Because Amazon.ca does not handle the shipping of Amazon Marketplace items, you will need to contact the seller with any questions you may have before ordering." 1. This item can be readily obtained for a third of the listed price from any electronics retailer in Canada. 2. If you may occasionally see an Amazon.ca list price that is lower than what these scammers advertise, then I would guess that Amazon.ca does not price things very competitively. Nor are they offering merchandise that is at all competitive with what any brick-and-mortar or online electronics retailer in Canada is offering. Why do Canadian customers put up with this inferior service?
