3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By David Brunstein on June 2 2011
Format: Paperback
This book is EXCELLENT, is written in "plain English" with clear explanations of the technical terms. There are very good examples and, the most important, how the example were shot. It also offers "assignments" or guided exercises at the of each chapter.
Have a lot of useful and simple tips, just to give an example, format your SD card before going shooting.

I recommend this book not only for the T2i owners, but to any Canon DSLR camera owner.

Well laid out and covers all of the main areas to increase your understanding of your camera. I thought the assignments were a good idea, but I ended up just reading the book as I couldn't be bothered to do them. I guess I will just use it as a reference book for now. Good to have as well as the manual as the handbook that comes with the camera is far to dry to read and absorb.
Plenty of examples and recommendations.
