Learn the love of reading,

This is the series that sparked a love of reading for my son. He would lay in his bed at night (sometimes with a flashlight) and laugh out loud and giggle and share his stories in the morning. He is now nineteen and is still an avid reader. This series sparked his love of reading and he still recommends them, as do I, as they are a childhood favourite.

I ordered this boxed set for my grandson's 8th bd. Well let me tell u, it was a huge hit!!! From the musical notes each time you open the 4 book holder, to each of the 4 books, my grandson loves these books. He reads them to his siblings, reads them to himself and enjoys others to read them. He giggles to himself all the time when reading these books. His younger siblings also really enjoy the stories. I will definitely be ordering books 5-8 for his next gift occassion. Order books 1-4 in the collection as it is really nice to have the 4 book holder to keep them together and carry them around. I highly recommend. There is nothing better than a child's laughter and a love for reading. Donna Richardson

I only rated it 4 stars because these books are in soft cover. Only the outer cover is a hard box. Hard cover on the Amazon site is misleading. Otherwise, this is a fun book set that the kids enjoy. Thanks

These books are great. I originally bought them for my son ten years ago when he was 4. Now I'm buying them for my 6 year old nephew. They use all the potty humor boys of that age think is hillarious. They definitely encourage reading.
