quite a sexy read two brothers lords at that lose most of their money due to their dads debt left with two ships the oldest of the two takes the two ships and cargo to make money in the states still under British rule so he can claim back his British heritage while there he falls for the daughter of a business partner she is involved in the underground movement for liberty he fights throughout the book between his greed for cash and him being a lord and feeling it and all that and his love for this sexy girl the reason i give it 3 stars are as follows 1 the rival girl is portrayed as sexy which is fine but he is thinks of getting with her over 10 times really liking her it was difficult to accept when we were lead to believe he liked the other girl 2 it had too much info about the movement really tiring and 3 every time the two main characters got together though sexy they always fight and decide never to see each other again after i enjoyed reading it though not a bad read
