I resent being marketed to on a workout video,

The workout itself is boring - far too much repetition for me, I want more flow; one tiny section of the sun salutation is done over & over, my attention span is far too short to stick with this. The tape also is in 3 so minute (or so) sections, each of which has a warm up and cool down - fine if you only want to go for 20 minutes, but generally I'm looking for the full hour so this is a really choppy and disrupted workout.To top it all off, they are actively marketing real estate in the video - the instructor & her assistants are placed in the yard of houses that were for sale in the area at the time of filming. Why on earth this was thought appropriate is beyond me. This one is getting dropped into the "donate to charity" bag in my closet.

Shelly McDonald has a quiet voice, which is relaxing. She is clear on her instructions of how to hold your body and gives the easier to more challenging choices in each move. That makes the routine helpful for a range of people. If you are a beginner, she moves quickly, so you must listen to her caution: do what you can do and do not do anything your body is uncomfortable with. The DVD called Stretch Into Yoga is slower paced and could be tried first, then advance to this routine. Once you have tried this DVD and can complete all 3 routines at once, it is a great feeling of accomplishment! Your body will thank you for it!

I love Shelly McDonald so I decided to order this workout. It is really easy to follow and also very effective but the cuts for commercials are really disturbing.
