I found this book to be well-written and exciting. The characters are interesting, and the plot moves along nicely. Unlike other fantasy stories, this book's action stays in one place, and follows one set of characters. Refreshing to read a tale without: "Meanwhile thousands of miles away on the other side of the mountains . . ." I recommend this book!
