I have to admit, I had no idea what the book was about before I bought it. I just liked the cover. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I love the variety of scenarios that were found in the book, even if there was not too much detail. I found enough detail to picture every scene, but not enough to feel like I was in her shoes, or should I say shackles. :)

This book gives you the skeleton of a sexy story but none of the details. And I don't know about you, but in a sexy story, it's all about the details for me. It feels like the author skims over the story and the story is alright, but instead of telling you how things feel, look, or smell, all you get is the broad picture. A lot of missed opportunites to take things up a notch. No comparison to story of O, which is quite a bit better. Not worth buying, but if someone hands you a copy and says, "Hey, you should check this out", you should. But if you want something to turn you on, you'll have to take the ideas presented in the book and expound upon them in your mind. Don't buy, borrow.

This is one of the sexiest BDSM novels I have read. Some scenes are off the wall and crazy, but Carrie's reckless abandon and preparedness to endure so much for her appetite will make your heart beat fast and your blood run hot.The b & w photograph on the cover is hot. While it means you want to take care where you read and leave it, whenever you glance down you will be motivated to pick it up and keep reading. I went through this in no time! Weatherfield does a good job moving Carrie through a variety of scenes so you never get bored. The male characters she encounters are also strange bedfellows and keep the reader on edge about just what may happen next. The scenes at the pony shows and the "pass around" time at the trainers are very hot and the descriptions evoke strong images. Superior writing to most of what is around to read. I also enjoyed "Safe Word" by the same author and Kim Corum's collection.
