Which really shouldn't come as a surprise. There is very little of value in here for an adult audience, and other than Mater the voices are (painfully) wrong. McQueen in particular seems to be voiced by the world's worst Owen Wilson impersonator.
The stories themselves are varied and occasionally amusing: the noir one in particular has a neat sense of style. They're pretty shallow, however, with none of the background nuance or easter eggs of an actual Pixar movie.
The worst part of all this is the total run time - it's less than your typical one hour TV show sans commercials (less than 40 minutes). So while it may temporarily distract your toddler, temporary is the key word. That and after a single viewing you will have already be driven insane by Mater's "If I'm lying I'm crying!" exclamation (and its variants), which he utters at the beginning of every single short or roughly every five minutes.
