For those of us who have enjoyed this series from the beginning, Homecoming Queen will come as no surprise. Eliza, Taylor and DJ (although, once again reluctantly) find themselves competiting against each other for the title of Homecoming Queen.
Eliza, who is the master of the suble manipulation shows more of her true colors here.
Taylor who has been basically hateful and DJ's nemesis from day 1 pulls out all the stops. and
DJ - seemes somewhat clueless and bewildered.
I love this series - all the girls have their very own distinct personalities and while I can't stand most of them, they are such fun to read. DJ needs to get a clue though - through the last 3 books, she seems to stumble through her life - always reacting - she always seems to be 2 steps behind everybody else and I have to say, its getting a little irksome!!
Still, this continues to be a very entertaining series and Carlson is great at writing YA. On to the next in the series!!!

Taylor is truly a character you will love to hate!
But the series would not be as satisfying and intriguing without her antics.
I have read the entire Carter House Girls series and I read this one in 1 1/2 days!
Bring on more!
