I like the story line and the manner that Lori Wick has for writing books. When multiple books have been read by Lori Wick the ending seems predicable but still a fantastic read.

What Is Going On? July 31 2007
By Sylvia - Published on
Format: Paperback
I'm sorry to be critical, but I just had to write something. This is one of the worse Lori Wick books I have read. Her first books were interesting, enjoyable, had romance and kept my attention. This book was boring. No romance starts for the heroine until over half-way through the book! Even then the hero had no personality and was just bland. This book should have been called "Meg" instead of Cassidy. The brother and sister-in-law of the hero had way more page time then the main characters.

I appreciate Lori Wick having scripture and spiritual guidance in her books, but this one takes the cake. I counted six sermons in this book! I read this book for the romance and and enjoyable passtime. If I wanted to read a devotional book I would have read one instead.

I had to force myself to finish this. There was hardly any plot. Just people from all over the town carrying on conversations with other people that didn't even involve Cassidy!

I know Lori Wick has done better then this. When are we going to get something like the Californians, Camerons, Kensington Chronicles and Sophie's Heart? Those books had a plot, gave the people personalities and focused in on the main characters. We got maybe one or two sermons per book and lots of romantic moments. I hope this will get better in the next book.

What happened? July 28 2007
By Amazon Customer - Published on
Format: Paperback
I first discovered Lori Wick when I read the English Garden Series. She was brilliant. Also in many of her individual novels like The Princess and Sophies Heart. This book was a dissappointment to a big Lori Wick fan like myself. It was choppy and disjointed. The story was great and I loved the characters, but the overall form made it hard to read. Sorry, Lori, but this one isn't your best work.

Disappointing Aug. 14 2007
By Jina M. Warne - Published on
Format: Paperback
Lori Wick has been disappointing lately. Unfortunate Cassidy has fallen into that category as well. If Lori Wick can revert to her old writing style she will continue being successful. The new Lori Wick is quite lacking. I confess I couldn't finish Cassidy, it just didn't hold my interest.

Cassidy by Lori Wick Sept. 19 2007

Cassidy (Big Sky Dreams #1)All of Lori Wick's series are excellent, and this is no exception. I know the rest of the series (Big Sky Dreams) will be just as wonderful. I really enjoy the way that Lori Wick lets you know how all the main characters are feeling. She really captures feelings and emotions. I was right there in Cassidy's shoes as she went through her different problems, that became worked out by other Christians with true faith. What a great witness. Thank you, Lori.
