There's something's wrong at Castle Rock April 6 2014
By James Liston - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Someone has killed Serena's uncle and now it seems they're trying to kill her. As more of the mystery unfolds, it becomes clear that something is wrong at Castle Rock and someone at the ranch is involved. Despite warnings to leave the ranch and avoid trouble, she refuses. She's determined to uncover the truth, even if it means exposing her best friend or the man she loves for what they really are.

Castle Rock is an exciting mystery set on a working cattle ranch in New Mexico. The amazing descriptions of the beautiful countryside make this wonderful story come alive. There are moments when I could imagine myself sitting on a "sun-splashed rock, staring at the pale blue sky arching over the lake with slender spruce crowding down to the water's edge."

Serena couldn't understand the meaning of the two large piles of stones making X's in the flat New Mexico desert. It was the first of many clues placed throughout the story. In the end, their meanings will become clear and the ending will surprise you.
