This seems to be a good book, but unfortunately there's no guitar tablature. Very often there are two guitars on Cat Stevens' songs and it would have been nice to see both tablatures. Here, you only get the chords. The chords for the introductions are not there either. I know the intro to Father and son is G and C, so why not write it? Not a book for guitarists unless you are a musician that can read partitions.

A good book for those who love Stevens, but not too much. Aug. 5 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
It's probably the most complete book of Stevens that is not out-of-print. It's very complete, and very well done. He's easy to read. But, you don't get all of the score, as in Moonshadow (i.e) you don't have the intro of the song. Also, some little things that you hear while listening the albums are not in it.i.e in Wild World, in the chorus, there a little picking and pulloff on the guitar: on the book, it's not the same. The chords sound very good ( same as the albums.) and the piano scores are terrific. For those who really know Stevens, I don't recommend it beacause you don't have the songs from Numbers to Back to Earth albums. You miss really good ones especially, *Novim's Nightmare* a very complex and beautifull song.

Good Transcription March 10 2001
By G. J Wiener - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book will fit the bill for most musicians who want to play the music of Cat Stevens. A few of the introductions are somewhat inaccurate and it would be nice if the second and third verses to If I Laugh and Tuesdays Dead could be on the same page as the music. The intro to Moonshadow is missing as well. None the less most musicians will find this book very helpful.

This is the book if you are a Cat Stevens fan from the past Sept. 10 2013

Some of the other books are available on Amazon, but they were missing songs I really like e.g., Sad Lisa, Into White, this book is complete. Gave as a gift and is great for a guitar player to have who likes this type of music!
