Sadly, Jade Starling and Whey Cooler, the creative force behind Pretty Poison, only released this single album. (A second album titled "Euphoria" contained covers and unreleased demo tracks, and doesn't really count.) But on this one album, they commanded some respect they never earned. The production and mixing on the title track is incredible, and it's a true dance classic. Some of the other tracks suffer from blandness, but there are a few shining moments, such as "Let Freedom Ring" and the shoulda-been-a-hit-single track "Shine".
It's doubtful that Pretty Poison will ever release anything anywhere near as good as this one album, but this is a must-own. Even the blander songs aren't half-bad, and tracks like "Shine" will make you wonder why they never had another single (or even a hit.)
