Book Description

May 1 2004 Silhouette Romance (Book 1718)
Are his bachelor days numbered?

He was strong, seductive and set in his ways. She was shy, unassuming and achingly innocent. Together, next-door neighbors Jordan Powell and Libby Collins were like oil and water. Yet when Jordan made it his personal crusade to help Libby hold on to her beloved homestead, everyone in Jacobsville knew it was just a matter of time before wedding bells chimed for these sparring partners. And if truth be told, the taciturn rancher wouldn't deny the exquisite tenderness that surged through him every time he pulled Libby into his powerful embrace any more than she could resist his breathtaking kisses. But a cattleman's pride was a force to be reckoned with. Could Libby accomplish what no woman had before and tame this Long, Tall Texan's restless heart?

5.0 out of 5 stars I love Diana Palmer! Sep 17 2006
Format:Mass Market Paperback
So...Ok, the brother is lacking a little in the defensive department, but just because Libby works in a law office does not mean that she is a lawyer! And if she's even a law clerk, maybe she just doesn't know that side of the law. I know it's just a book, but I think that some have been a little harsh on poor Libby's character and Diana Palmer herself! The woman writes amazing stories! Who cares if it's a little predictable, aren't all romances a little in some ways - first they fight, but in the end life is beautiful! I say to those who harp on this book: Let's see if you can publish as many stories as Diana Palmer! And still have fresh ideas all the time! Give the woman a little credit! Diana Palmer is an absolutely amazing writer, and I personally envy her talents!

So in closing, for those who are new Diana Palmer fans, take the time to find out for YOURSELF if you will enjoy this book! Don't believe everything you read. Cattleman's Pride is a wonderful Diana Palmer story, so...enjoy!
