In the opening track of this live CD, Michael Bublé explodes "I'm feeeling GOOD!" Who could blame him? He's backed by a big--make that a really big--band, and the song sounds like a million bucks. You may quibble that Bublé is a nice fellow who's a bit lacking in both the charisma and swing departments, but the music here percolates with bouncing energing--just listen to "Summer Wind" or "The More I See You" to see how glorious arrangements (by Johnny Mandel and John Clayton Jr., respectively) can propulse a reasonably gifted but by no means transcendent singer into the stratosphere. Best of all, Bublé once again shows his ability to seamlessly bridge eras and styles by offering stylistically consistent covers of the Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love" (done swing-style) and Lou Rawls' 1976 hit "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" (done crooner-style in a duet with Italian singer Laura Pausini). (The DVD offers up a similar take on Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," for instance.) The DVD portion of this combo set doubles the ante by offering 18 tracks (plus a bonus "Song for You" with Chris Botti) to the CD's 8. Mr. Michael Bublé brings his musical magic to life on DVD.Filmed at the prestigious and beautiful Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles California, we're treated to the best seat in the house. Mr. Bublé possesses the gift of connection with his audience and you can feel it and see it in the audiences faces. He enchants his audience, he holds them in the palm of his hand and with every perfect note the hold just gets stronger. I found myself actually being there.... To see whole audiences swaying in their seats, clapping throughout or dancing in the aisles is an amazing sight. The visuals/lighting and sound are incredible. Add to that Mr. Buble's obvious love for entertaining live and you have all the ingredients to a stellar performance dvd. The accompanying cd only serves to strengthen my belief that Mr. Bublé commands one of the most beautiful sounding voices I have ever heard. For your gift list, Caught in the act should be your number one choice.

DVD Caught in the act is a game WINNER!!!!!!Dynamic performance by Bublé. Gifted as a singer, he's also so charismatic and a consumate pro when it comes to including and connecting with his audience. Whether singing classics (that he makes his own) or "Home" that he wrote, you'll be left in awe of his voice. I've been around for a long time and I haven't heard anything like it! I loved the use of numerous cameras and angles and I loved that the audience is included so often and you can watch them singing along, sometimes crying with emotion and dancing in their seats and later on rushing the stage to dance right in front of the man himself. Talk about a good time concert. Two viewings later and I'm still seeing things I missed that make me grin. The accompanying CD is live recorded (wow, what a voice!) and among the eight wonderful songs includes my favourite "Smile written by Charlie Chaplin. As expected Bublé nails it and stamps it with the Bublé signature. I love that signature and I'm certain you will to.

Michael is the best signer in all time. I grow up with the song of the best signers like Frank Senatra, Pat Boon, Tony Bennet and Dean Martin and I feel so good when I liste Michael Bublé. I have 59 years of age and the music always been important and still so I would like you congratulate Michal Bublé for me from Québec. He is so popular in our province every body flip on him and I am so happy for him. I wish he will continue for many years and congratulate him for his 5 nominations in Awards Music. Sorry if you notice mistakes but I not writing often in english.Thank for your understanding Micheline Vigeant from St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, province of Québec
