This was a textbook for one of my classes and is now one of the few that I have kept since it has everything you need to prep for a CWNA or CWSP.

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a geek. Well, I'm an amateur geek. I can't break into full professional geek because of some of the insane technical boundaries.

Some of the textbooks I've had in the past only seemed to amplify these boundaries. Getting access was an incredible pain.

Not so with this book. Mr. Carpenter presents the topics in a lively, easy to understand format, without talking down to the reader.

I've only made it through the first five chapters, many of which were review, but the rest was filled with great fields of technical information, presented in a manner that made for rapid assimilation. I really glad my professor chose this book for our course.

This book has well written material that covers all past and current wireless technologies. Information is explained from a real world experience approach, using tools that are commonly available. This is a must have for anyone that would like to pursue basic and advanced wireless network implementation.
