Not what I thought,

This book reads like an autobiography in part and a lot about different trainers and their style of training.There is next to nothing for someone looking for a hands on training book. If I had known this I would never have bought it, a waste of money. If you'd like to know about Cesar's life then its an interesting read but that's about it.

My dogs thank Cesar,

I ordered 2 of Cesar's books and finished Cesar's Way and loved it and my dogs are thankful. I have 3 horses, 2 dogs and a cat. Although I feel I know quite a bit about animals and training animals I learned a lot of very important things from this book. I now take my 2 dogs on long walks daily. I though playing ball and letting them loose in backyard was enough for them but Cesar stressed how important it is to let them be dogs and investigate new terrain + go for structed walks and be the pack leader. My dogs are better behaved, have better manners, seem happier and walk so much better without pulling. I am truly enjoying them more and am more aware of my own energy which will be very helpful esp. with my 2 year old half arabian.He tells us about his past and his dreams and goals and how he got to where he is. I found that interesting and very inspiring. Love him and his books and my animals and myself and everyone around me benefits. Buy his books and enjoy a better, deeper connection with your dogs. Has some amazing suggestions. Only had a puppy for a month and he is learning quickly--making him soooo much more enjoyable.
